​Founder Michael Hopkins grew up in a family of pilots and aviation enthusiasts, where the joy of flying RC airplanes with loved ones sparked a lifelong passion. However, frustration with OEM parts that limited performance led Michael to pursue a better flying experience.
With a strong engineering background and a drive to learn, test, and build, KIN Additive was born. The name "KIN" reflects the spirit of family and connection, as we aim to foster a community of RC enthusiasts united by shared passion and respect.
